First things first. What the heck does 'In Omnia Paratus' mean?!
Prepared for all things. Ready for anything.
Yeah, that's me! I am married to a US Army soldier. Jacob is the man I never knew I wanted; he is amazing and quiet and almost everything I am not. I am the mother of twin daughters, and almost twin dogs. Phoebe and Keira are 18 months old and two handfuls of beauty and attitude. Max and Ozzy keep me from loosing my mind, then turn around and tempt me to sell them to strangers. I live in Germany. I am the ultimate Patriot, so I am totally out of my element in the Land of Bratwurst and Beer (though I am a fan of their beer!).
I adopted In Omnia Paratus as my motto during Jacob's first (and lucky for us, his only so far) deployment. I was 19 years old and living alone for the first time. Oh yeah, and I was married to a guy that was a million miles, and just as many timezones, away. Halfway through the deployment, he reenlisted for Germany. A week after moving to Germany we found out I was 9 weeks pregnant with twins. A year after moving, we found out we would be moving again.
As I said, I'm prepared and ready for it all. I'm an Army Wife!
So every time life, my husband, the Army, or God throws a curveball my way, I smile and say "Ok!" I can handle it. Because I am just that awesome. :)
